Michael Jackson's second posthumous studio album to be released in May

Another album of previously unreleased songs by the late Michael Jackson is to be released this May, his label Epic has confirmed it yesterday.

The twelfth album, titled Xscape will be the singer's second posthumous album of unreleased material and the first in four years, following the critically-divided Michael in 2010, a year after the singer's death from a drug-induced heart attack at the age of 50.

The album will contain eight unreleased songs recorded from 2001 to 2009 and will be released in two editions: the standard edition will contain the songs in an contemporized style and the deluxe edition will contain a second disc that has the songs in their original format. The iTunes deluxe edition will contain two videos.

The album was played first time in the basement of a Knightsbridge apartment for music journalists from Sky News, London Evening Standard, Telegraph Media Group, Mixmag and Digital Spy, just hours after the confirmation of the album.

Here's the confirmed tracks:
  1. "Love Never Felt So Good"
  2. "Slave to the Rhythm"
  3. "Blue Gangsta"
  4. "Xscape"
  5. "Do You Know Where Your Children Are"
  6. "A Place with No Name"
The titles of the last two tracks have not yet been revealed, but Xscape is available to pre-order on iTunes and will be released on May 13. Sony Mobile costumers of new devices Xperia Z2 phone, Xperia Z2 tablet and Xperia M2, will be able to download for free on day of digital release through the Xperia Lounge app.
